3D Screw Portrait Blind Artist Made With His Hands

That is the story of ways we made a portrait of George Wurtzel, a blind artist. It turned into the primary portrait ever that he may want to sense and understand as himself.
The sculpture by Andrew Myers is made of 4,000 hand-painted screws. caution: you may want to cry (but in an excellent way!).
that is Mr. George Wurtzel. Blind artist, woodworker, instructor, and a gentleman who is constructing an art gallery

We wanted to have the first piece in that gallery so we sneakily took a image of George and worked with our friend Andrew Myers to make a sculptural portrait of his face.
